This is my first tutorial, so cut me some slack if it's hard to understand.
What you need?
GIMP 2.6+
Vector brushes
Some knowledge in GIMP (enough to know tool placements)
Download vector brushes from these links.

1)
Create a new document, at whatever size you choose. I will use 350 width, and 145 height. This size helps prevent the signature from looking too open. Go ahead and create a new layer, and paste your render in it.
2)
Make a new layer and put it under the render layer. Choose two colors from the render using the 'Color Picker Tool' (hotkey: O), and use the blend/gradient tool to make a background.
3)
Create another layer, under your render layer, and paste the render all over it. Side to side, not crazy like. Go to filters > noise > pick, and set 'Randomization' and 'Repeat' to max, and set the 'Random seed' to randomize.
Now go to filters > blur > gaussian blur. Set X and Y to 100. Set the layer to 'Grain Merge.' Your signature should look like this.
4)
Make another layer below the render layer. Paste the render all over it again, side to side. Go to filters > noise > pick, and use the settings from the step above. Select the 'smudge' tool (hotkey: S), select the vine brush, and set spacing to 1.
Swipe the smudge tool over the image in a diagnol direction, and set the layer to 'Overlay.' Here's what your signature should be looking like now.
5)
Now, make another layer, and select your 'brush' tool (hotkey: P). Use some vector brushes (which you should have, download links above) and add some effects. Set the opacty to 60% if the vector brushes seem to dark. Something like this should result in doing so.
6)
Choose the render layer, right click, and select 'Alpha to Selection.' Go to select > grow and set it to one pixel bigger (I messed up in the original, just keep it to one). Make a new layer, and fill it, using the bucket tool (hotkey: Shift+B), with black. Go to select > none. Make sure the black cut out is under the render, and go to filters > light and shadow > drop shadow, and use these settings.
7) Go ahead and add some text, with any font that you choose. Make it the color of the most common color on your render. For me, that's purple. It's almost hard to tell it's there, but don't worry. Right click on the text layer, and choose 'alpha to selection'. Go to select > grow and make it larger by 1. Make a new layer under the text, and fill the selected area with black. Repeat the 'Drop Shadow' technique from step 6. Here's what you should have so far.
8) Last, but not least, let's add a border. Make a new layer, above everything. Go to select > all, and then select > shrink and set it to 1 pixel smaller. Now go to select > invert. Fill in the area with black, and invert the selection again. Shrink the selection by one, and fill the area with black. Shrink the selection once more, and go to edit > clear. Go ahead and deselect, and you are done! Here is the final result!
(like I said, I messed up with the shadow drop on the render, keep the selection growth to ONE)
Some credit goes to my friend Offhand, he taught me how to make the background ;3
